

YKKE concert activation
In 2020, I was working on creating content for one of Red Bull’s biggest Instagram channels: Red Bull Rap 100. A channel that
supports and features the biggest German hip hop artists.
One of the projects I was working on at the time was an activation campaign for the YouTube concert of hip hop duo YKKE (Yung Kafa & Kücük Efendi) and the launch of their “Weit, Weit Weg” (Far, far, away) tour. How could we make people aware of this event in times when live concerts were cancelled due to the corona pandemic? On social media! That’s why we approached some influencers and sent them a cool gift box with some giveaways, stickers, energy drinks, flyers and the most important thing: the concert ticket. In this way we were able to spread the voice through their communities and make sure that more people could watch the show on YouTube.
As part of the campaign, I also created animated Giphy stickers of each item in the box so that everyone could get involved in a fun way, making their own social media stories more entertaining and taking YKKE and German hip hop far, far, far away.
